Drill-Through
Drillthrough is a feature that allows you to drill down into the data of a report interactively. By clicking on a value within a grid, you can access additional details related to that value, either in another grid, or an dashboard.
Grid to Grid Drillthrough allows you to click on a value within a grid report and navigate to another grid report that provides more detailed information about the selected value.
Grid to Dashboard Drillthrough allows you to click on a value within a grid report and be redirected to an interactive dashboard that provides a more comprehensive and contextualized view of the related data.
The "Drillthrough" feature benefits the end user in the following ways:
- It allows the user to drill down into data with a single click on a grid value.
- It allows the user to navigate seamlessly between grids, and dashboards without losing context.
- It allows the user to access specific, personalized information based on the selected value.
- It allows the user to simplify visualizations without the need for multiple reports.
How to Open a Drill-Through
To open a Drillthrough, first enter your username and password, then click the Login button. Once logged in, navigate to the report you want to run and double-click on it to open. Next, click the Apply button to display the report. Once the report is loaded, click on the value of a column that is configured as Drillthrough.
